Julia is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and has diverse clinical experience in family medicine, adult health, and women’s health.

At the Memory Treatment Centers, she applies her background in neurological care to support individuals and families navigating cognitive decline.
As a neuro specialty registered nurse, Julia previously worked at The Shepherd Center, where she managed challenging cases involving acquired brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, and neurological conditions. In her role as a Clinical Nurse Educator, she played a critical part in staff education and development, particularly in behavior management and crisis intervention.
Julia has also been an active member of multiple committees, including the Behavior Management Committee, Education Sub-Committee, Infection Prevention Committee, Nurse Education Committee, and the Disorders of Consciousness Committee. Her dedication to patient care is reflected in the hospital-wide training initiatives she developed, such as the Behavior De-Escalation Training (BET), CRRN Review Course, and Clinical Skills Workshops.
In addition to her professional achievements, Julia believes in fostering a trusting and open relationship with her patients. She emphasizes shared decision-making and patient empowerment through education to achieve the best outcomes.
When not at work, Julia enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and extended family. She finds joy in reading, hiking, yoga, kayaking, trying new recipes, baking, and sewing.
